This is a photo of my 21-inch I Love Lucy doll wearing the Sales Resistance outfit. She is from the Timeless Legends collection. One of my favorite dolls! She has the Portrait body, with one-piece trunk, jointed shoulders and strung legs.
I recently read Lucille Ball’s autobiography, “Love, Lucy”. It was one of those books that begged me to keep reading. I have always loved reading biographies of movie stars. The material for this book was found after Lucy died. Her children discovered the manuscript and sent it to press. It covers her pre-Desi years, giving insight into what made Lucy . . . Lucy!

A doll collection is what you want it to be. You decide what you will collect and how you will categorize and display your treasures. Whether you collect McDonald’s Happy Meal figures or expensive antique dolls, it is up to you just how you will acquire and maintain your collection.
In my opinion, there are two “musts” for every doll collection:
If you want to start a doll collection, don’t hesitate to jump in and gather up a few dolls that catch your attention. Over time, your small collection can evolve into a very satisfying hobby!
